Digital flashcards, or "Vocabs" as we affectionately call them, are the core component of Aprendo. Make the comparison with other flashcard app solutions and you will realize that there is much more to it. Through repeated learning, your study sessions are tracked and an individual level is determined for each Vocab.
Creating suitable flashcards for a new topic can easily take up a whole evening. You already know exactly what you want to learn. Let an AI create your flashcards. It suggests ready-made Vocabs in the formats you have selected. You check, adjust and save only what you like. Already have documents? Then create digital flashcards automatically from a document: from a PDF or an image file, such as your notes or a page from a book. You use the AI with your own access – so you stay in control of costs and usage yourself.
With image Vocabs, you can already make your cards more visual. To learn even more efficiently, Aprendo offers you a variety of ways to be tested: multiple-choice tasks, input fields, sentence blocks to put in order, gap texts or numbered markers on an illustration whose meaning is given on the back. Look forward to even more variety with audio and video pages once the next development phases are complete.
Everyone has Vocabs that they know well, and others where more study is needed. Through tracking, your progress is divided into levels 1 to 10. If you want to learn digital flashcards online, you can flexibly choose which levels to focus on this time. For particularly stubborn cards, you can set explicit tags.

Sentence blocks: a sentence broken down into blocks. While learning, you put them in the right order – ideal for sentence structure, word order and grammar. Wrong blocks as distractors make it harder.
Text card: the classic flashcard, with the question on the front and the answer on the back.
Image card: an image with numbered markers whose meaning is given on the back.
Choice card: several answers, one or more of them correct.
Input card: the answer is typed in, and the system checks the spelling.
Gap text: a sentence with gaps, plus wrong blocks as distractors.
Instead of folders and binders, you organize your Vocabs clearly into subjects and topics, just like in a digital school backpack. For a perfect overview in learning mode, you can filter your cards specifically by subject, subtopic, or single vocabulary word, allowing you to learn exactly what matters right now.
Targeted tracking doesn't just let you observe the current level of your Vocabs. The learning mode enables selective learning of flashcards online by letting you choose which levels to focus on this time.
